It is not important whether you know the true origin of Valentine's (or Valentines) Day or not. What's important is that you know that Valentine's Day is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's Day cards, flowers, candy (usually chocolate) or other unusual Valentine's Day gifts.
